This very original 1965 Shelby GT350R was purchased new by Jack Loftus Ford in Illinois and was raced by Dick Jordan (Richard M. Jordan, original owner) for some 20 years before being put in storage in 1986. It was sold in 2012 from an RM Auction and but failed to sell here at the 2021 Mecum Kissimmee Auction, got to 1.2 million usd before stalling and failing to sell ("the bid goes on..."). Side note: sorry for no sound at the beginning but it was just the audio from the video screen that didn't relate to the car and was distracting (just a walk around part, no car noise), kept the engine video clips.
