This is exactly how to spend a 48-hour stopover in Iceland! We met a few locals on our first day in Reykjavik and they helped us create the perfect travel itinerary so we could see as much as possible of this beautiful land.

While a couple of days isn't near enough time to explore all of Iceland we were grateful to get a taste of the weather, the beauty, the people, and the wildness of this incredible country. We can not wait to go back and venture out further but maybe next time spend WAY more time exploring the full island.
