Ok after this haul I am CUT OFF from thrifting....until the the spring. But in my defence everyone was taking down their Christmas decorations and decluttering so I HAD to check out what was being donated to the thrift store. However I am happy to report that with the addition of the knitwear I showed you in this video I am content with my current winter wardrobe, which is a sentence I never thought I would say. I also found some spring/fall blazers that I hope to find coordinating/matching skirts. I also found some winter accessories and handbags. Actually wait....now that I think about it there is one more thing I would like to add to my winter closet(lol). A longer wool coat, ideally 1940s/1930s in a brown or dark burgundy. The problem is that I have some longer skirts that I struggle to wear outside of the house because I don't have a coat that looks good with them. But I'm not in a big rush, if I come across one great!
In this vide you also get a tiny bit of a glimpse into the direction that I will be going in with my spring wardrobe. Dusty colours and more 1930s inspired looks for spring. Don't worry once we get closer to the warmer weather I'll do an entire video talking about my spring style. In the meantime I'll try to enjoy the winter weather. Which is a struggle seeing as the wind is currently 50km/h and they are calling for frigid temperatures and a snow storm this weekend. Luckily I will be bundled up inside filming! while the wind hits the window, anyone else love that sound ?
Anyway, I have nothing to link because its all second hand, but let me know which piece is your favourite!
