2nd week food shop of the month (from my households payday) I spent £126.34 in Aldi my monthly budget is £400 for my family of 6. I have £226.63 remaining.
Shops reduce foods throughout the day the earlier reductions only will have a small reduction it’s the final reductions that I shop for at my shop the best time to get the best deals is around 6pm quarter to- to be on the safe side (times do change round to keep ya guessing) and the different departments fruit & veg, bread, deli ect are done at different times it’s a bit of waiting around but very much worth it... all stores maybe a little different but best of luck and if you get some good deals I’d love to hear about em please leave them in the comments.
Here's 2 videos yellow label shopping with me both very different experiences-

I don’t share my location to protect the safety and privacy of my family.
If you don’t have luck at your local Morrisons maybe try Asda as they are so much cheaper with there yellow labels I just don’t go as my closest is to far away from me.
You could give the app Too good to go they sell yellow label lucky dip bags which can be a great deal as well as fun if you don’t mind not know what food your going to get.
Alternatively there is a app called Olio that give food away in your local area it’s a great resource if you need to use it.
If you are struggling to buy food maybe reach out to a local food bank.
