I promised you a garden update, so here it is! We have a fair amount of plants, herbs, medicinal flowers, vegetables, trees and fruit that we have started this year and I wanted to share. Some are experimental gardening others from seed or a starter from the greenhouse or local market.

I encourage all of you to start an indoor or outdoor garden. Believe it or not, you still have plenty of time to start a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers outside and all year to start the plants inside. As long as you have a sunny window or a grow light you are set. Just buy some seeds, use your scraps or ask your neighbors for a few cuttings and go to town.

Your garden is yours so it does not have to be anything but. You see my garden, I have all my flowers, herbs, vegetables, beans, roots and vines in planters, pots, raised beds and a few in the ground. Don't make gardening more complicated than it needs to be just put the seed in the dirt and see what happens. You might have a green thumb and not even know it!

Aside from growing to eat, you can grow for beauty, medicine, compost material, pollinators, for your mental health or even to feed the wildlife.
