On June 2nd of this year, the UFC made the almost unprecedented decision to cancel the much anticipated press conference for UFC 303 at the very last minute. For eleven days, MMA fans were essentially left in the dark, with only rumors and hearsay to go on. Finally, it was announced on June 13th that McGregor was injured and out of what would have likely been the year's biggest pay per view.

But as is often the case with MMA, recent events have a tendency to obscure the long and winding path it took to get where we are now. In this video, I'd like to shed some light on the complicated history of Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler and try to put the collapse of this fight into perspective.
