We visit the old town (and the new town) of Stavanger. We didn't take an excursion in this port but I really don't feel as though you NEED to in order to enjoy Stavanger. Stavanger is pretty easy to walk around and it's even lovely in the rain.

We were joined in port by the Viking Sun and MSC Orchestra. I LOVE checking out the other cruise ships in port.

I loved the beach house and would definitely recommend it.
