The Glanusk Estate was a revelation for Scott and I, it reminded me very much of a highland estate both in its appearance and attitude to fishermen. What attracted me to the estate was the possibility of driving the majority of the beat and having Theo (my dog) out with me for the day.

We met Harry, (the Laird) at 9am and after taking a copy of the beat map was directed to where we are fishing. We were on the Park beat below the bridge in the morning and above the bridge in the evening.

The day cost me £45 which I paid directly to the estate over the phone. You don't need to contact the Fishing Passport to book this beat, contact them direct.
