This night could still turn into a disaster as for pylons and the hot water pipeline that runs from Svartsengi to distribution tanks in Njarðvík that supply all houses on the Reykjanes peninsula with water for central heating. We lost that pipeline in January and that was a major disaster so we should not be in this position now, but hope for the best. But this video is more and less about the future since this problem with infrastructure came up late today.
