Today, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the bill №10062 on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service.
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry said that the bill would give the right to place its IT systems in military cloud storage facilities of NATO member states.
At the same time, the most scandalous norms, which are laid down in this document, relate to the creation of a register of the militarily liable. In particular, it will collect various data about citizens without their consent.
Information that was collected by public authorities for purposes known to citizens will now be processed by default by other bodies - from mobilization offices to the special services - for other purposes that no one warned citizens about when collecting the data.


What kind of data?
In addition to standard information like full name, address and place of work, the following dossier will be collected on all men from 17 to 60 years of age:
- telephone numbers, email addresses
- information on foreign language skills
- information on the right to own a weapon
- driving licence
- information about the parents of the person liable for military service
- details of internal and foreign passports, taxpayer identification number
- data on travelling abroad
- information on criminal convictions and so on.


The register will also include a digital image of the person liable for military duty. That is, their faces will be digitised and henceforth they will be able to be identified, including through street cameras.
Concerns from members of the Verkhovna Rada that this info will be stored in the NATO cloud and not within Ukraine
COnsider the UK guarantee that ties Ukraine to support UK - feeling more and more like Ukraine is being turned into a vasal for NATO/UK’s own use.

The NATO Secretary General
