The third EP from Iceland’s WAAL is another excellent set of deep, trance-inducing set of tracks, that suitably conveys the atmospheric vastlands of their home country.

Three epic pieces of sinuous black metal that sounds expertly composed despite being spontaneously improvised. The raw, churning melodics, familiar to fans of Iceland’s signature sound, are textured with a doomy dissonance, and hypnotic repetition that bores the essence of each riff deep into your psyche.
