You open YouTube to unwind for a bit.

A video of a dog stealing pizza pops up. Then a video of your friend's vacation in Iceland.

But then you see a promoted video. Then a sponsored post that's basically an ad. Then another.

Everyone is trying to sell you something.

And you just wanted to relax.

We all have days we just want to relax and not buy new things, no matter how cool…

Selling someone at the wrong time can make you the villain… even if you're selling the most helpful product ever.

So, if you have something to sell...

I'll share a better way.

You simply:

Start conversations.

You can use DMs, email, or any other 1-1 platform.
(DMs are the best)

The goal is to meet the person and talk to them to see IF you can help.

Here's what to do in 3 steps:

1. Start conversations. Reach out and start talking. Stay curious.
2. Listen. Carefully. It's the only way to understand what problems the other person has.
3. Share your offer. But only if it feels right and solves a problem.

And, of course, always be kind and respectful.

But what if somebody doesn't want to chat?

That's okay. Most likely this isn't the right time.

Simply move on and look for someone who is willing to talk to you. They make the best clients.
