My Kyrgyzstan trip is starting to come to an end. And, to be honest, while it has been amazing, it's also been so full-on. I'm ready for a couple full and dull days of rest. But, that'll come soon enough. For now, I want to make the most out of my last days in Kyrgyzstan. It is such an amazing country that I just want to soak up as much of as I can.
On today's travel vlog, the plan is to go chasing waterfalls. I've never been a fan of the advice of TLC "don't go chasing waterfalls". Waterfalls are awesome. And, even of they aren't the most impressive waterfalls in the world, they almost always seem to photograph really well.
So, from the guesthouse here in Jyrgalan, Kyrgyzstan, we went on a hike to a waterfall. Along with me, a fairly large group of Russians came along. Honestly, I don't think I've ever hiked with a slower group. But, they were really nice people. And they had that genuine curiosity for the world that I love to see.
After 3-4 hours, we eventually made it to the waterfall which was beautiful and turned out to be really photogenic as well.
So, after flying the drone a bit, exploring the area in photos for a bit, and getting some cool images, we left the waterfall and headed back to Jyrgalan.
To my surprise, when I got back to the guesthouse in Jyrgalan, my buddy Steve from Backpacker Steve was there. I didn't know he was coming to town, so it was a great surprise. We were both coming of long hikes, so we were craving some sugar and indulged in some Coca-cola and candy. A great way to end a really good travel vlog in Kyrgyzstan.
Tomorrow is my last real full travel vlog from Kyrgyzstan before heading back to Bishkek to start the journey home.
