Tomintoul has been working with Weltons Brewery, an artisan brewer in Sussex, to supply them with our bourbon refill casks for their craft beers. They have just launched two new products matured in our casks, Dr French’s Old Remedy and Dr French’s Whisky Rye #Tomintoul #Craftbeer
Very smooth and dark, with dried fruits, vanilla and gentle spice from the oak, whisky, hints of mocha with medium carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. Aged For 12 Months in Tomintoul Casks.

COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in collaboration with our friends Brouwerij Alvinne. The nose is complex with cloves and sweet candy like notes mixing with earthy, floral and wine like characteristics. The flavour is deep leading with classic triple flavours of sweet-malt, figs and a touch of honey. The finish is peppery with some fruit courtesy of the wine barrels. The mouthfeel is round and warming.

Doing what they do best, our friends at LERVIG brewed a stout specifically for this blend with our Oude Lambiek. After it had spent some months in Cognac barrels, they blended the Lambic in. This blend was then matured in Akevitt barrels.
