Hi everyone! I went on my first solo travel in Norway last summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life :) Some random advices:
- The Norwegian Kroner (NOK) is the currency of Norway. I suggest you change some cash, but keep in mind that credit card is the most used method of payment.
- I’m Italian, so when it rains I use an umbrella. Norwegians don’t. I didn’t think of it before leaving, but now I know that I should have brought a raincoat with me.
- Norway is expensive, but I managed to save some money having dinner at home and bringing with me a packed lunch every day.
- As a girl, I was a bit concerned about travelling alone, but I shouldn’t have had. I always felt safe and respected, so if you’re unsure whether to live this experience or not… Go for it!

- Entur website & app: https://entur.no/ here you can find bus, train and ferry routes and timetables.
- Skyss website & app: https://www.skyss.no/en/tickets-and-prices/buying-tickets/ where you can buy bus and boat tickets.
- “Ruter Billett” app: where you can buy bus and metro tickets in Oslo.
- “Fløyen” app: here you can buy the funicular tickets to get to Mount Fløyen. I recommend going hiking in the morning, otherwise you will have to wait in a long queue before getting on the top.

Days 1&2: Oslo
I visited the city and found accomodation near the central station with airbnb - super recommended if you want to save some money!

Day 3: Flåm

Vossevangen - Odda: bus
Where I stayed in Odda: Trolltunga Camping
The camping is quite far from the bus station (30 mins walk on an uphill climb, I didn’t know that before booking…), but there stops the public bus that takes you to Trolltunga.

Day 5: Trolltunga
This 20-km hike is for sure the highlight of the travel. I highly recommend going with a guide: I booked mine at https://www.trolltunga-active.com/

Days 6&7: Bergen
I recommend going to the KODE Museums, where you can admire Munch and Cezanne’s masterpieces.
