Lofoten: It is an archipelago and a traditional district in Nordland, located in Norway. The archipelago of seven main islands is permanently inhabited and connected to the mainland by bridges and Tunnels.

Outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and gatherings can be performed in the national park. The best known locations within the national park: Roren and Ytersandheia Beach, Ryten and Kvalvika Beach, and Horseid Beach and Bunes Beach.
2. Hiking: Reine is comparatively the most popular hike in the Lofoten Islands. Short, but steep trail leads up the mountainside to a ridge high above Reine village. Reine is on Moskensøya Island at the western end of Lofoten.
3. Northern Lights: The lights, which are also called Aurora Borealis, show up at night when the sky is dark. It’s like a celestial ballet of light dancing across the night sky, with a colour palette of green, blue, pink, and violet. Between late September and late March, Northern Norway is dark from early afternoon until late morning, and the northern lights frequently soar across the sky.
4. Midnight Sun: In Nordkapp, the sun shines for 1800 hours without interruption – which is a total of 75 days. During the summer months (Mid-April to Mid-July). Most of the activities and adventure are opened for the whole. Lofoten is one of the very few locations where sunset merges into sunrise, with no darkness in between.
How to reach Lofoten Islands - Norway: Lofoten's main airports are in Svolvær and Leknes. Svolvaer Airport connects Bodø, Oslo, Røst, Stokmarknes. Whereas Leknes Airport connects Bodø, Oslo, Tromsø.
Bodø is considered as a gateway town to reach the various islands and from here you can choose a connecting flight or catch a ferry or express boat to one of the islands.
Best time to Visit Lofoten Islands: The best time to visit the Lofoten Islands is any time in-between December and January, when the sun doesn’t rise at all. These dark days offers you the "Northern Lights".
