Zoom presentation by Maine Audubon Director of Conservation Sally Stockwell on Jan. 23, 2022.

Since its installation in the Spring of 2021, the Fields Pond Audubon Center’s Motus tower has been recording the wildlife species that pass through with radio tags. This data is part of an international collaborative Motus network that collects data on the movement of wildlife species to inform ecology and conservation research. Join us for a presentation on the use of Motus technology in Maine, the wildlife species that are being tracked, and its scientific and educational uses.
