In August of 2017 we visited SK Vard Haugesund several times, where we were able to get a glance into the "Vard-modell". This unique project is a tool of Norway to deal with immigrant integration, where immigrant children play football in mixed teams with locals in their own age group, helping to establish new relations with each other.
The club gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to take some videos in their facilities. Project leader Maid Memic sat down with us to talk about the Vard-modell in this episode.
With this video we launch the channel "Riskligaen", where you can find more Scandinavian content in the future. Watch, enjoy, comment!
