A group of us from the club decided to fly up north to Springbok in the Northern Cape. Its situated close to the Namibian border so we used the opportunity to fly down the Orange River. It is a truly beautiful area where the river provides green life in an otherwise desert environment.
Really good to have Paul join me. Paul was my flight instructor 22 years ago who taught me to fly. He has recently retired from flying commercial jets.
